Laser precision micro-etching for measuring rulers / scales

The surface of inspection instruments is laser micro-etched to produce precision measuring marks/reference marks. Laser MEMS techniques are employed to produce precise reference marks on measuring instruments for standardization. These techniques could be employed to finish different types of measuring scales/rulers. These scales/rulers could be used either manually or automatically. The latter is integrated with motion systems to receive automaric feedbacks. Precise positioning relies on these precision scales/rulers.
