These laser micro-etching machines help produce functional components or conductive components made of thick or thin films. The surfaces and substrates of the materials that vary in thicknesses react to the laser beam differently. Hortech's laser machines remove the surface without damaging the substrate and patterns on the conductive thick or thin films. The conductivity is used to determine whether or not the micro-etching process succeeds. Controlling the depth and width as well as reducing craters or burrs determine the outcome.
